EGG BANK: Helping Children Remain Healthy

An apple a day…. has been replaced by an “Egg a day keeps the doctor away ” in this present pandemic situation. Egg has been proved to be a complete food with all required vitamins and proteins for all the ages. Inner Wheel Club of Bangalore and Rotary Club of Bangalore are the first clubs to launch an Egg Bank in District 3190. On the 12th of November we started this novel project at Bosco Mane, Chamarajpet. Rotarian Valmiki Hari Kishan from Secunderabad Rotary Club, who is also the founder of Egg Bank, was the chief guest. Nearly 65 children of Bosco Mane will benefit from this Egg Bank. We have promised to supply, weekly thrice, free eggs to all the children of this institution.
