Ranga Rao has schooled in Vizag, colleged in Orissa and completed CA in Bangalore by 1982 and presently is practicing.
He was the Secretary of the Rotary Club of Bangalore at the centenary year of Rotary, and served on the Board for 5 years in several capacities. Married to Kanchana, an accomplished Montessori teacher, they both are proud parents of Meghna – who has completed her Post Graduation in Biotechnology in Leeds and now married and residing in US – and Akshar – who is undergoing his internship for CA at B K Ramadhyani & Co. Both, Ranga Rao and Kanchana have undergone a memorable stint with Round Table where service and fellowship have personified living and life style. Presently they are enjoying the Rotary landscape since 2000.
He as a practising Chartered Accountant who has a firm with large commitment towards “end-to-end services” for several subsidiaries of US, UK, China & Romania companies. The traditional Audit and Tax of corporate and other sectors continues.
Ranga Rao is the original team member of Rangashankara the theatre space in JP Nagar. He has led the theatre trust to adopt sound policies, achieve financial reliance and adhere to complete statutory compliances. Rangashankara is one of the most popular theatre destinations of the world today.
RR as he is known among friends, like to meet people, practice green values, be a part of the wild life in India and overseas. He loves his farm where organic methods are embraced. He is a member of Bangalore Management Association, FKCCI, Bangalore International Centre.
