MAINTAIN SOCIAL DISTANCING: COVID-19

COVID-19 cases continue to be on the rise, particularly in Bengaluru and Karnataka. One of the factors for the continuing spread is non-adherence to safety protocols. Fatigue has set in over months of observance of safety rules and isolation. A false sense of normalcy after the easing of restrictions, adds to the problem.
Citizens need to be reminded of the prevailing situation and risks. Messaging and Awareness campaigns and Mask distribution, are some of the means to help citizens stay vigilant and safe.
For this to work at scale and the message to spread wide, we request the Clubs of District 3190 to propagate this message (online/offline) through the posters that can be distributed / displayed / posted in respective localities, communities and online platforms.
Rotary Club of Bangalore has also tied up with Deccan Herald to leverage the print media and its reach.
This is an opportunity to put the Rotary compassion, grit, and determination to work against COVID-19 and ensuring the well-being of citizens. Let us join hands and make a difference.
