Camp on Breast-Feeding

 A camp on breast-feeding, maternal health and hygiene awareness was held  at the Shanthinagar Health Centre on August 1.

This camp was initiated by the Inner Wheel members and was attended by around 30 mothers.

 Inner Wheel President Tasneem,the Secretary, and a few other members were at this Health Centre along with Rtns.Dr. Sangamitra and Dr Getrude.

 Dr  Sangamitra addressed the mothers and explained the anatomy of the breast to them and also gave details on the composition of breast milk. She advised them on how to feed new-born babies and also gave tips on what should and should not be done while breast-feeding.
