Rotaract Seshadripuram – Installation

The sixth Installation of the Office Bearers of Rotaract Club of Bangalore Seshadripuram for the year 2019-20 was held on 21st July  at Rotary House of Friendship. The theme of the program was Colorful World. This Installation was attended by around 20 Rotaraians and Inner Wheel members, 80 Rotaractors,and 30 guests.

The students of Vidyadegula Educational and Developmental Academy (VEDA) entertained the audience with a vibrant and colourful dance on a stage that they had decorated. 

IPP Rtr Apoorva N H welcomed the gathering.  Rtr Srinidhi S U was installed as the President by the Chief Guest, Rtn Dr Elizabeth Cherian Paramesh. The President of Rotary Club Of Bangalore promised a sum of Rs 10,000/- and this award was instituted for most impactful community service project.

The other Rotarians who graced the occasion were Rtn John Bruno, District Rotaract Committee Chairman, Rtr. Shashi Kumar, District Rotaract Representative, Guests of Honour Rtn Meerabai Shankar, Club Advisor, Rotaract Club of Bangalore Seshadripuram, Rtn Shailesh Shah, YSD, Rtn Anandi Viswanathan, President, Rotary Bangalore Abilities.

Rtr Lavanya E took charge of ROAcBs as Secretary. The Board of Directors was installed by DRCC Rtn John Bruno and new members were inducted by DRR Rtr Shashi and the dignitaries addressed the gathering.  DRR Rtr Shashi  Kumar encouraged the Rotaractors to get involved in district activities. Rtn John Bruno, DRCC, commended the plans of the President and appreciated the initiative of having Rotary Representatives in Committees of Rotaract.

 At this meeting an Eye Donation Registration Drive  was organised in association with Narayana Nethralaya. The Club also established  the Rtn  Meerabai Shankar Merit Scholarship and around Rs 14, 000/- was distributed to four meritorious students from economically weak backgrounds.

 The year hence commenced with the motto “Together, Change is Possible”.
